When you’re having a event—or even renting a hall for a reception or other ceremonial function, you can opt fruit baskets instead of having to take the time to look for other more appropriate decorations and favors for the tables. It can be difficult to think of just the right  items   to put on each table specially if you are trying   to choose something that will not discourage the male guests . Fruit baskets are unisex products that are appropriate for both genders  and for all  events . The only deviation comes in making the decision  which fruits you wish to choose  for the occasion for which you are currently making plans.

Since many  events   are also comprised of using the centerpiece on the tables as door prizes, fruit baskets are also very appropriate for this as well. Of course, it is possible the guests  at the table may have consumed  the fruits before the time  comes   for giving away  the baskets, but this is preferable to many favors that are placed on party tables that often consist of candy or other  goodies . While these are less expensive  ways to provide  favors for  all guests  , they are for certain not the healthiest options .

The choices you make for fruit baskets will depend upon several different things : the season , the occasion , the number of guests  and the purpose  of the fruit baskets. The need  for the fruit baskets will play a big  role   in the type of fruit you choose for the baskets. If you are using the fruit baskets as favors, you will likely choose something different than you would choose if it is being used as a centerpiece to be given away at the end of the night . You will take just as much time to choose fruit baskets as you will choosing floral arrangements—perhaps even more so .

Before you order any fruit baskets it is  necasary   to know how many the amountyou will need. This will depend how many tables you plan  to have and how many guests  at each table. At the very minimum  you want to plan  on at least one fruit basket for each couple, and if you also plan to use fruit baskets as a door prize, you will need to have an spare one as well. You can choose an arrangement of only fresh fruit staged nicely in a basket or you can choose an arrangement to celebrate the  event   that will appeal to all the guests  at the party.
